He did not. We discussed ahead of time what was important to us and he went to the first appointment with us to see if he liked the Dr. He did not think he could judge well enough from just an interview.

DH came and asked questions too. Not a decision I wanted to make on my own, I wanted him to know and feel comfortable with the practice we chose for the care of our little girl.

Yes we went together and I am very glad we did. The pediatrician I knew I wanted is about 20-25 minutes from our house in the opposite direction of where we work, not super convenient, but I trust her completely, she was my ped growing up and is the Dr for all of my siblings children. I love that she has first hand medical knowledge for my family for 2 generations.
My husband is very practical and just looking at her location wanted to discount her, but after meeting her there was no question that she would be our pediatrician.

He came with me to the first interview (at night) but the other two offices I visited would only do the new mom consults at 12 or 1pm M-F and he couldn't leave work. He started this new job about 3 months ago and we didn't feel it was necessary for him to be asking for the time off. He was very comfortable having me go alone and get the info - also because the two other peds i saw: one was DH's and the other was mine.

nope, I actually just did an informal interview kinda over the phone. I knew I wanted this practice, but my DH wasn't neccessary

Yup, DH is relatively anal, and that is one thing he really had a major opinion on ...for instance this one practice that had a very very highly rated Dr in it he nixed bc the practice had 7 dr's total, and DH feels that he wants the baby to know one or at most two doctors personally, he wants more of a personal touch..so the short answer is yes he came to all the inteviews

I only interviewed 2 pediatricians. I went to the first one by myself and he came with me to the second one.
We went with the second one.
