Did your doctor say it was OK to paint?
Mine isn't in until tomorrow and I am totally freaking out because my SIL started painting for me last night and left is half done because she had to go home.
I am VERY meticulous when it comes to painting and I can't even look at the room without my blood pressure going up.
It HAS to get done......
Anyone's doc OK painting?

Re: Did your doctor say it was OK to paint?
I helped DH paint this weekend. The paint was VERY low odor and water based , and I would take fresh air breaks. But my back is killing me today.

Mine said it was ok, as long as the room is well ventilated.

Re: Did your doctor say it was OK to paint?
I never even asked--DH is absolutely convinced I should not paint at all. I don't think it matters what the doctor says. Since I am now 32 weeks and everything is a bit more difficult, I'm not complaining.
The main thing I would really avoid painting is sanding or scraping, esp. if your home was built before the 80s. There is bound to be some old lead paint int here somewhere, and you don't want the baby exposed to that.
