Diet free of red dye 40, high fructose corn syrup or gluten
Has anyone removed any of the above from their child's diet, and has it made a difference? If so, what changed?

We have not removed gluten but we have removed red dye and HFC. I have seen no difference.

I removed red dye.. It made a huge difference in his night terrors. (stopped having them). It also made a huge difference in his behavior... I took out yellow and blue for a while and then slowly reintroduced them. He can have limited amounts of yellow and blue dye.. Only gets it in lemonade or a treat (holidays). I know when he has had too much.. He is ASD, ADHD, SPD among other things..

Diet free of red dye 40, high fructose corn syrup or gluten
Removed gluten from my sons diet 4 months ago and dairy 1 month ago. He has progressed so much verbally the past week or two...now putting 2 words together...not sure if it is a coincidence or the dairy. Not to be too descript but his poops have been more formed also- one of the reasons I wanted to try eliminating dairy. I have read that a lot if ASD kids gave GI issues and helping alleviate their gut issues can help with their ASD behaviors, etc
