Diet Help

I know this sounds ridiculous and lazy but I do have little spare time for myself during the day to cook or exercise
I work full time and take care of my son. I gained quite a bit of weight that I would like to get rid of

does this exist:

a successful diet plan other than weight watchers, Nutra system or jenny craig
that will not take forever to lose weight

I am not into shakes, I like real food

any suggestions are great

You can do atkins or South beach but any diet will require some planning and a time commitment.

I am doing Medifast.....If you want real food this is not the plan for you but it works. I lost all my baby weight on it and now I am working on the weight I gained before having my son.

I do have to say that it got me excited about cooking again and trying new recipes. I plan the week out on Sundays and do a bunch of cooking so when I get home from the city I can cook quick. I also have to say my DH is simple so he is on board with taking care of himself while I do this.

Going low carb is probably best long term solution. I understand what you are saying. I work full time and have an 8 month old. I am trying to get back into the habit of cooking so I can eat better. I personally think planning is the only way to do it. Try by starting off with eating a healthy breakfast, then work on fixing your other meals. I know it's hard- I'm trying to do it myself too. For breakfast, you can do a smoothie, make eggs ahead, plain oatmeal. I find at least starting off the day healthy is helpful.

That said, I've heard good things about MediFast and Isagenix.

Honestly, Meal prepping on Sunday is best if you have the time. You know what your having for the week and your all set for meals. So ideally you can come home from work, have dinner and spend time with your child and you may find time to work out.

You should look into beach body programs where you can workout for 30min a day, or find a challenge group on fb that can help. (It has helped me alot stay more on track). I know a friend who paid for weight watchers and all of those diet programs but found the groups and beach body program was cheaper and worked best for him.

I highly recommend the 21 Day Fix. It's an awesome program that will teach you how to eat correctly, and exercise daily (short, 30 minute workouts). I'd be happy to give you more info if you'd like!
