The LV logo on a real bag will NEVER be in the seam of a bag. They make sure you see every logo!

Many retailers/designers won't authenticate items anymore.

That works on cheap fakes, but there are super fakes out there.
Some of the giveaways are the font of the stamps, the datecodes and the hardware.

where is there a datecode? i have an LV that i know is real because i purchased it myself at the americana manhasset store - but i'm curious where to find this!

I don't understand what this means.. I am looking at my 100% real bag (i bought it myself at the louis store) and I have logos on the seam. I also have half logos on the bottom of the bag where it's cut off by the tan leather strip...

Okay here is my fake wallet, Im admitting to it.
I have a real LV bag.
The actually "LV" logo (not the flower logo) will never be sewn into the seam of the bag, ever.
Here is a pic of my fake wallet,see the LV sewn in, not once but twice?
1st pic, fake
2-4, Real Ba-No "LV" in seams.

the speedys are made with one large piece of leather - so the backside will have upside down logos
that's another way to tell a fake (the speedy and papillon anyway)

WAIT- I bought my speedy from the Americana LV. When I put my wallet and cellphone in it it sagged on the bottom in the middle. Does your sag? Ireturned mine, because for the money I want it to hold a shape.

A girl I used to work with was given an LV bag by a client (nice perk, huh!?!--PS I never got one, oh well). She was not sure if it was real or not. So she called an LV store and they said each LV bag has a serial number in teh inside pocket. This was about 3 yrs ago though.

Also, the pattern of logos on the bag is symmeterical and there is usually one in dead center.
