Digestion relief in sight?

Hello, I have posted this question before but am posting again, looking for some reassurance that brighter days might be ahead! Ever since getting pg I have been so bloated and gassy and backed up. I had minor problems before but nothing like this. Can anyone who has been through this and given birth tell me if these symptoms go away post-partum? I would love some reassurance that I will not have to drink prune juice and metamucil forever. I seriously feel like a geriatric!

ETA: I am 28 weeks

I know how you feel. Someone on here this morning suggested Colace.

In my experience, its on and off throughout pregnancy. Once my babies were born though, things went back to normal.

Thank you SO much. I had some slight issues with being backed up before I got pg but colace always did the trick and I had no problems at all controlling it. These days, I am using Colace and Metamucil, etc.. and it's still a challenge. I'm so looking forward to things going back to normal Chat Icon
