Digital Camera's
I am looking to get a new digital camera. I have a 3.1mp Kodak Digital that is about 6 years old. It still works great, but it is bulky, and very slow. I am looking for something that is at least 7 mega pixels, small, has a nice sized LCD screen, has optical and digital zoom, and has built in flash. I also would like the camera to have the anti shake feature, and have multiple compatibility with memory cards.
Right now I am looking at the Casio EX-Z700. Circuit city has it on sale for $249. It is 7.2megapixels, and has 3x optical and 4x digital.
Does anyone have this camera, or recommend another camera? I dont want to spend over $300 Thanks, Scott

Re: Digital Camera's
I have 3 Two are Kodak Easy Shares, one has 4 mp, the other had 5 mp. Supereasy!!! Very affordable. I brand I know and trust.
Our other camera is an Olympus SP320. 7.1 mp I love it. The down side is that it is a 3X optical zoom. But that is a lot of cameras. But the pictures are beautiful.
Dig. Cameras have come a loooong way in the past few years, so you will find a lot in your price range. I got my Olympus at Circuit City, had a rebate, then got a price adjustment b/c they had it on sale. So this $300 camera was on sale for $260, with $30 rebate, then another $30 price adjustment. Not bad.
I know that there are a lot of threads on here about dig. cameras, so I'd also do a search, but many people here stick with Canon, Nikon, Kodak and Olympus.

Re: Digital Camera's
for a less expensive digital camera I am a huge fan of the olympus' i have had a few and they are always great and last a while! (i teach HS art and use them all the time in the classroom, they get dropped all the time and never seem to break and last a lifetime!)
if you want to go really expensive, i love the cannon rebel....

Re: Digital Camera's
unless you're planning on printing something bigger than 20x30", you don't need more than 5 or 6 mega pixels.
