Digital cameras..what kind are good for mommies with the ever moving toddler?

I was wondering what kind of cameras you ladies have that seem to work well with children.

I have to look at something under 300 although I would love a slr, just not in the budget right now.

I want something with a good zoom and where I can snap pictures pretty fast since Megan is ALWAYS moving.

I figured I would ask here since we know how hard it can be to capture a shot of a toddler. I just want to be able to point and shoot, point and shoot. Anyone?

Just decided yesterday that we're getting another Canon. The new Powershot Elph. It has continuous shooting mode, a bigger LCD and is 8 mp. It got excellent reviews wherever I looked.
