digital opk's

Does anyone know what it means when a little book with an arrow appears in the digital window. I threw out my directions. I'm guessing it means some kind of error, but I just want to make sure. I swear I am OPK challenged.

It's an error. It could mean a couple of different things:

1) the test was just defective
2) there was too little urine applied to the stick
3) In my experience, if you insert the stick & then take the cap off, you will get an error. The cap should be removed before the stick is put in.
