Dilemma! I went black friday shopping and...
I bought some stuff at macys. The girl that rang me up must have been new cause she kept swiping my card saying it wasnt going through. well she did it 3x and i just looked on line at my statement and it says i got charged all 3x!!!! it wasnt my macys card, so how do I dispute this? call my credit card company first or go to macys first??

I'm pretty sure if you call your CC co they're going to tell you that you have to contact Macy's and they'll have to fax something to your CC company stating that 2 of those charges were in error and they're crediting the funds back to your account.

call CC company. They will see that it is the same amount 3 times in a row and will take it off probably immediately. I had it happen (charged twice) and after the call never had to give it another thought.

I would do both. First, call the cc company and tell them what happened they may be able to correct it automatically. If they say you need to call macy's then I would use the number the cc company gives you.

if you got charged 3x, you should have 3 receipts. more then likely, you are seeing pending charges..once the official charge hits, only 1 (for what you signed) will be accepted and the other 2 pending charges will drop off.
of course, if you see it on your statement, call your cc company.
