Dining set - please help me decide! (poll)
Thinking about getting this dining set, but can't decide on which chairs. Will definitely get the 2 upholstered arm chairs for the ends of the table, but can't decide between the upholstered side chairs or the chairs with just the cushioned seat for the sides. I like the cushioned seat chairs because the wood is a different color than the arm chairs, and like that is't not all match-matchy. And I'm concerned that the fabric on the upholstered chairs will get dirty quickly (we will use this set daily). But, part of me likes the way it looks with all upholstered chairs. Ugh! I'm so confused! What would you do?
mix and match chairs (but the end chairs would be the arm chairs)
all upholstered chairs

I personally don't like the mix and match at all.
I would do either do all of #1 or all of #2. I lik ethe #1 chairs better and would not mix and match.

I have a similiar Ethan Allen set - the table and side upolstered chairs are wood tone, and the china cabinet and remaining chairs are antique white, and similar style to those in your picture -
I don't like anything matchy matchy
So I vote for #1 - I also, personally don't like the look of all fully upolstered chairs.
