Dinner in the City
Dh and I want to see the tree tonight, where should we go for a nice dinner? I am open to all suggestions. Usually we go down to Little Italy, but this year I want to stay near the tree and the stores decorated for Christmas.
Help please!

cite is great and has a wine prix fixe that's fun! alfredo of rome is also right there and we like it.

i hate mid-town, i prefer going into So-ho or the west village, you can have a more romantic dinner without all the hoopla. Mezzo Giorno on Spring St is our most favorite place in the city
ETA- oops sorry, I just read that you wanted to stay mid-town, there are a few good restaurants on W55th.

Our favorite is Becco, but it is kind of small so try to make a reservation.
For a really expensive meal by favorite is the '21' Club...Everyone should go at least once!

we are going tonight too- to see the tree and to go to dinner... at jezebel's it is somewhat near restaurant row.
We got engaged at the tree on the 23rd and we go back to that restaurant -where we ate as a tradition!
