Dinner time
what time is dinner in your house?
We use to eat between 530 and 6. Now that we moved out east it takes DH longer to get home from work so tonight he won't be home till at least 730 because he hasn't left work yet and its about a 45 minute drive.
I don't want to cook at 730. I want to be relaxing at that time.

usually between 6-7 but it really varies based on when dh decides to come home, but i agree i hate cooking so late just like i am doing now, we will eat about 7:30 tonite

between 7:30-8:00. Usually it's 8:00.

That would be nice.  All this week, I've been getting home at 7:45. Today, It's 8:02 & dinner isn't ready yet. Last night it was about 8:45.

In the summer, it is usually later, like 7-7:30... My kids are outside and at the pool all day, and they take late afternoon naps!
In the winter time, it's more like 6:30-7.
DH is never a factor in dinner time because he's never home for it anyway.

DH works rolling shifts so it depends. Three weeks he works till 5. Then one week till 6, nest week till 6:30 and then the following week till 8. After that it starts all over. If it's the week he works till 8, I try to wait till he's home. The other days it's between 6 and 7.

usually about 7:30, the earliest I get home from my commute is 6PM and that's if the train cooperates  DH on the other hand is an electrician and he's home by 4PM everyday, yet he rarely makes dinner

During the week between 8-9
Dh doesn't get home from work until 8ish
I am embarrassed to even say what time we go out to dinner on the weekends!!!

DH doesn't get home from work until 9:30-10pm. So I usually eat by 7 and he eats when he gets home.

I feed my kids around 5:30. DH doesn't get home until 7:30 or 8:00, so we usually eat after that.

Most of the time after 7.
I feed DS around 5:30-6. No way will he hold out until after 7.
On the weekends we eat early. Usually around 5PM.
Sat. nights we sometimes go out or order in and Sunday we go to my parents for "family dinner".

Around 7. Dh gets up between 6:30 and 7 most nights. I usually start cooking about 6.

DW gets home at 3. I get home about 4:45. We usually have dinner on the table by say 5:30-6. Well depending on the complexity of the meal.

I get home around 5:30, and we usually eat pretty much as soon as I get home. DC go to bed around 8, so dinner much later than 6 cuts into bath time, snack time, bedtime, etc.
