Re: Dinner Tonight - what are you having?
Big pork chop night We're also having porkchops but I made them w/ sauerkraut and I'm making potato pierogies as a side. I have never eaten this before and was leary. DH always talks about how his mom used to make it and when I saw the easy crockpot recipe I thought I'd give it a shot. I just tried it and I must say, it's pretty tasty

My DH loves it! (and so do I!) I made it last night without the stuffing (DH started Atkins yesterday) and it came out SO GOOD! we didn't miss the stuffing at ALL.
ETA: I used canned tomatoes & onions instead of plain chopped tomatoes. makes a huge difference.
In the recipe it calls for Italian style diced tomatoes - so I bought the Del Monte diced tomoatoes with basil and garlic....very good! sounds great! I add basil & garlic... but the onions I felt added a lot of flavor. this is definitely one of my new favorite things to make. and so easy too

We were going to have veal cutlets and rice and string beans, but I have a sinus infection and feel gross so DH just went to Zorns to pick up a chicken.
