Dipping yellow gold ring?

So, as I mentioned in the previous post, I have a yellow gold claddagh ring that I always wear on my right hand. DH bought me this ring 4 years ago. Now I have my e-ring/wedding band and while they are on my left hand, they are white gold. It bothers me that they don't match, but it never occurred to me to have the yellow gold ring dipped. Has anyone done this? Is it expensive? Am I wrong in thinking it'd be more expensive than dipping a ring that's already white gold?

I had this done about 5 years ago but I don't remember what the cost was. I don't think it was to much. Just FYI, it doesn't last forever. The white gold on mine lasted about 3 or 4 years and then it wore off.

I paid $35 to have it done and as the previous poster mentioned, it does not last forever and the yellow gold will eventually come through, you would have to get it redipped, I would say once a year I have to have it done

I'm okay with having it re-dipped. I dip my white gold rings about once a year also. I just wasn't sure if it was more money since it's yellow gold. Thanks everyone! I'm definitely going to have it dipped.
