Dips for the Super Bowl?
I'm going to my mom and dad's for the Super Bowl and I wanted to bring something with me. Any ideas? I'm up for anything!

Re: Dips for the Super Bowl?
Spinach and herb dip. You can buy a round loaf of pumpernickel bread at the bakery - cut out the center and put the dip inside. Cut up the center pieces for dipping. I would get an extra loaf to cut up in squares for dipping as well.
Guacamole dip with tostitos.
I think I am making a taco salad dip with tostitos for the party we are going to.

LOVE Spinach Dip in a bread bowl. Sooo good and usually a big hit! You can either use the recipe off the back of the Knorrs package or I now get it from Cosco. They make the best dip. Then you can put it in a breadbowl and cut other pieces around it. Also good with Stacy's pita chips.

Re: Dips for the Super Bowl?
we make a taco dip that is a total hit everytime..and sooo easy.
Spread cream cheese on the bottom of an aluminum (or glass) baking dish. We use disposable bc it's easier. Usually 2 or 3 blocks of cream cheese. Then add chilli (I use hormel's turkey chili with beans) over the cream cheese. Then top with shredded taco cheese. Pop in the over for about 20 mins...until cheese is nice and melted..a little crunchy if you like..and it's all done. Sooo yummy and really filling. Use tortilla chips for dipping.

I do cream cheese on the bottom, then salsa, then mozz and cheddar....cook until the cheese browns and serve with tortilla chips

Re: Dips for the Super Bowl?
7 layer nacho dip? It's always a hit at my house..
mix a pkg of taco seasoning with 1/2 the container of sour cream spread refried beans on the bottom of a large serving dish put the sour cream mixture over that then shredded cheese diced tomatos black olives red onions diced sliced jalapenos
you leave off whatever you like or add something else you like more. it's great to make the day before and leave in the fridge - although I would put the tomatos on at the last minute then so it would get soggy.
