I hate it. If I want or need something, I'll go to the store and buy it, or buy it on Amazon. I can't stand the model where I have to go to a distributor to get something. I think I should be able to buy everything I want in a store. And I find the stuff is WAY overpriced and usually a huge rip off. And sometimes a huge scam. Like those wraps. Yeah ok, I'm going to wrap my belly in saran wrap and look like I worked out for a year- overnight! Yeah ok.
And I can't stand feeling obligated to buy stuff or pressured.
So for me, it's a BIG no
I'm with her. Feel the same exact way

Drives me nuts. I have this Facebook "friend" from high school who CONSTANTLY adds me to her sales groups for "the pink stuff" and who messages me non stop. I ended up having to defriend her.
I have another Facebook friend from high school who posts non-freaking-stop about her wraps... yeah ok... I will wrap myself up and look like I went to the gym 24/7.
hate it.
Those flucking wraps! All those things are doing is sucking the water out of you. You are wrapped up in plastic, of course you are going to sweat. And then you drink some water and rehydrate and BAM your "flab" is back.
I can do the same thing with a $2 roll of target brand plastic wrap from my kitchen. Rather than a $25 "wrap"
So ridiculous that grown adults fall for that shit

I don;t really care one way or another. I have NEVER felt pressured into goign to a party or buying anything and IMO if you are doing direct sales you can't be offended because someone said no to you....it's part of life.
Hey if people can make money doing it more power to them.
This is how I feel.

Re: Direct Sales: Yay or Nay?
I'm in direct sales and it doesn't bother me in the slightest if people do or do not want to buy from me.
I work for a great company and have great perks and experiences from it. I'm also lucky enough to have a product that while yes pricey, works and has changed the lives of some of my friends.
I share it because I think I can help people.
Oh and you are exposed to at least 500 advertising messages daily, so my one or two shouldn't even make an impact compared to the 14 you receive from Geico lol
