Disney - which parks if only 3 days?
We are going in Feb with our 3 y/o DS. I wish we could stay longer, but we are leaving our twins with my mother and dont want to be away for too long. We are planning on spending 2 days at MK, but are undecided about the 3rd day (only a 1/2 day). Should we do Epcot or DHS? I prefer to go to Epcot, but I'm wondering what will be more fun for my 3 y/o?
Any advice?
ETA: playhouse disney @ DHS will be closed for refurbishing when we are there.

ita..def there for the parade..little mermaid and of ocurse toy story..which if u plan to do go there asap..the line will form as soon as doors open and fast passes can be gone for up to 5 hours
also if u were planning on going to see fantasmic look before u go because iots only on certain days now not every night like it use to
u could also get a park hopper pass and do both..

if you are going to be there for 3 days and have a 3 year old I would only go to the parks for 2 days and spend the middle day recovering and going in the pool.. we went two days in a row w/ a 4 year old and she was exhausted.

I have to agree. If you do parks every day, you will come home feeling like you need a vacation from your vacation. Take atleast one day to just relax, or do one of the water parks so it's a little more low key.

We went to MK for 2.5 days and Epcot for 1 day. The best rides for 3 yo is in MK. Epcot does have rides too and they are fun and more science type. There is also a Nemo ride and an aquarium at Epcot.
Those were the only 2 parks we went to.

definitely magic kingdom. i would do epcot in the evening, but just the front. (the countries are a bit boring for a younger child.) i would do hollywood studios in the morning if you don't think you will tire yourself out.

I would say MK and DHS. They've actively tried to make EPCOT more interesting for the younger set, but it's really not (except for the aforementioned new living seas exhibit). DHS and MK have much more to offer and both of those parks could easily fill 3 days especially with a 3 y/o in tow.

Re: Disney - which parks if only 3 days?
We took ds at 22 months and again just before his 3rd bday.
I loves epcot, magic kingdom and animal kindom.
This year we took him to DHS and while it was nice I didnt like the rides too much. They were all pretty much shows, so it was alot of waiting around, alot of coordinating times, etc.
We didnt see the parade, so I am not sure about that. He did love the car stunt show but him and his cousin who was 4 were pretty antsy having to wait around.
DS enjoys nemo, spaceship earth, the fireworks show, the character meet & greets and alot of the countries have attractions or entertainment with dinner.
ETA: at DHS he probably would have LOVED the toy story mania ride, but there were no fast passes left by 10am and the line was never less than 85 minutes.

Re: Disney - which parks if only 3 days?
Our last trip DD#1 was almost 3 (34.5 months) and DD#2 turned one on the trip. Their 2 favorite parks were MK and EPCOT. They could take or leave HS (esp if playhouse disney wasn't there that is a big attraction) and like AK but not as much as MK and EPCOT.)
There are tons of characters at EPCOT and we had more princess interaction there then at MK. But you have a DS so I don't know how much he would like that.
They loved finding Nemo ride, and turtle talk with crush, spaceship earth (esp the cartoon part at the end that their pictures were in), journey into your imagination and the interactive part afterwards, the boat ride in the Mexican pavilion as well as the one in Norway. On a hot day there is an interactive fountain to run around in between Future world and World Showcase. There are acrobats in china etc. There is plenty for little ones to do. If your DC is taller he might be able to ride some of the other rides with height requirements like test track or soarin but my DD is very petite so she wasn't tall enough.
It really depends on your child as to whether you want to try for HS or AK. If your child is taller HS has some rides - but there isn't much for younger set - although the toy story mania ride is great- as is the meet and greet with Buzz and Woody, and Lightening macqueen. There is a large play area called honey I shrunk the audience. If your DC will sit for shows there are some stunt shows there as well. HS is good I think for a slightly older child - but again I think whether to go to AK, HS or EPCOT really boils down to people's personal preferences and their child's likes and dislikes.

FYI DHS is getting a new parade... it is still Pixar character though, but different music... possibly different floats and most likely new characters. It should start next week.

we are actually going to be away for a week, but will only be in Disney for 3 days. my family has a house in Naples, so my mom will be watching the twins there. thankfully, we will have 4 days to relax AFTER Disney bc I know it will be SO exhausting.
THANKS for all the advice and tips everyone!
