Disney in June
Has any one gone this time of the year? What are the pros and cons? How is the weather, crowds? etc....thanks so much for your help!!

we went in June and thought it was GREAT!!! (beginning of June)
Weather wasn't horrible, crowds were less because kids up here are still in school and southern schools would've just been starting out their summer.
We hardly waited on long lines....I think our longest was 40 minutes.

June is a GREAT time to visit Disney! While the summer crowds are certainly gearing up, as the last post states, schools in many states have not yet let out (usually late June). So the crowds are certainly manageable.
Another BIG reason for considering June (at least the first 3 weeks of it) is that you would still qualify for the "Buy Four, Get Three Free" promotion if you are going on a room/ticket package. I've never seen the pricing better!

We went this past June and although it was hot, the lines weren't too outrageous. And like PP mentioned, a lot of schools aren't out yet- though many southern schools end by then. Our longest line was for Dumbo and it was maybe a half hour. We did the speed pass thing for all the rides that we could and just returned at the proper time.

I wouldn't recommend it unless it was the 1st to 2nd week of june. the weather starts to get pretty bad and the crowds are starting!! especially the locals since kids are out of school. THE best time to go is september and october. i know that's not when you wanted to go but weather/crowd wise, that's the best time to go. july and august are unbearable so i wouldn't even think of those months if you don't go early june

you also have to remember that the star wars weekend are in june and the movie studio is crazy then!!! I took my son and wow it was really hot over 90 each day and we went the first week of June. and lots of long lines- most southern schools are out by then (my son is out june 5 (he is in a PA school)
I have to say the best time we went there was around halloween time no lines and the weather is much cooler but still short weather.
