Disney on Ice Ticket Question

DH and I want to take our DD to see the "Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes" show at the Nassau Col. in January. I called to see if I needed to buy her a ticket and they said 2 and over needs a ticket. First off, there is NO way she will sit in her own seat and she just turned 2. She will be 27 1/2 months at the time of the show. Do you think I would be able to get away with no ticket and passing her off as two? Anyone have experience with this? I just hate to waste money on a ticket for a seat we don't need. KWIM? I know I will probably have to bite the cost but I wanted to see if anyone else tried to get away with it. Chat Icon

I don't think you need to purchase a ticket for her. I have passed my daughter off as being a year younger than she really is a few times. (not for disney on ice though) She is very petite and nobody ever questions it. I've been to the disney on ice show last year and the guys that seat you are not going to harass you and ask for ID. Who carries ID for a two year old anyway.
If you plan on keeping her on your lap you shouldn't waste the money..just my opinion though.

Re: Disney on Ice Ticket Question

You definitely don't need to purchase a ticket for her. We took the kids to the last Disney on Ice Show (think it was in January) when DS was 4 and DD was 3 and they just sat on our laps. Most parents seemed to do it that way!

ETA: We weren't even questioned.

I wouldnt purchase a ticket and if they ask just say she's under 2. They're usually not sticklers for that.

Sounds good. Thanks!!! I think I will take my chances and not get her a ticket. It's just such a waste.
