Disney park hopper question
If I purchase a park hopper ticket, do I still have to pay the entrance fee for the other park? Not sure how it works.

Re: Disney park hopper question
A park hopper ticket allows you to hop from park to park with the same ticket. You can do all 4 parks in one day for the same price... We always get the park hoppers

Re: Disney park hopper question
The regular ticket gets you into one park per day. Which can only be used at one location so if you get say a 5 day ticket you can go to MK one day, EPCOT the next then MK, then AK or HS. It is your choice as it is good for any one day in any of the 4 major parks (water parks is and add on). Now sometimes I see someone say I don't want a hopper because I don't want to spend the extra money so can I instead but a 7 day ticket but use 2 tickets in one day to go to more than one park. No you can't do that. If you want to go to more than one major park per day you need the hopper add on. We always get that because for us it is worth it. This way for example the AK closes very early. But if you have the hopper you could go to MK at night or EPCOT or HS for dinner and more rides or parades etc. With the hopper you have unlimited ability to go back and forth between the parks all day long and to all four in one day if that is your preference.

Wait sorry if I wasn't clear I was saying some people think you can do that. The tickets get cheaper the more days you buy but they DON'T let you do that. The only way to go to more than one park a day is to get the park hoppers.

Would be nice if you could because the tickets get cheaper the longer you are there - and some people only want to hop one or two days. But I always get the hopper we get a lot of use out of it and always do 2 parks in one day. We used to eat a lot in EPCOT for dinner so that would be our nighttime park and we would do MK one night for the parade and/or fireworks. I don't want to waste a whole day at HS or AK so it works perfectly for us. Plus the big advantage is that if you don't get to do say 2 or 3 things at AK or HS - and would like to return a second day - no reason to burn a whole day on that park or miss out on doing those things you can just jump over there do them and continue on at say MK or another park. Also you get to a park and it is pouring or the crowds are really high you have the option or going elsewhere - which you can't do with the regular park ticket. We never get the other plus options (the water park or the no expires) - to me they aren't worth it. I could be wrong but I think mousesavers says if you only want to do one water park one day it is cheaper to just buy a single day ticket to the water park than it is to add that feature to your passes.

Re: Disney park hopper question
It is cheaper the more days you buy.. We usually do a 4-6 day park hopper. You can get discounts if you search for them. I forgot where we got our tickets from last time.
