Anyone been there? Any comments? We are probably just going to stay one night there but it looks so cool!

Re: Disney Pop Culture Hotel
We stayed there for our week in Disney. It was great! The rooms were immaculate, the pools were nice, and the cafeteria-style dining area was fine. There's no actual restaurant, but we were eating in the theme parks and at restaurants in the other hotels, so that was no problem. I thought the hotel was so cute and really enjoyed looking at everything there. Honestly, we were so busy at the parks that we didn't spend must time at the hotel, but I have absolutely no complaints about it.
If you don't have to walk too far from the shuttle, ask to stay in the 50s or 60s buildings. They are closer to the main building where the cafeteria, gift shop, shuttle, etc. are located.

Re: Disney Pop Culture Hotel
I agree w/ all the above poster said.
It was neat and clean and cheap and thats all we wanted on that trip.
Its not romantic at all LOL and there are 5 million kids running all over but that was fine with us.
We were so tired from the parks all day that we just wanted to shower and crash and thtas why we stayed there.

Re: Disney Pop Culture Hotel
I haven't stayed at Pop Century, but I've stayed at ALl-Star Music which is similar. I think they're fine. They're clean. The rooms are small-ish but acceptable the grounds are immaculate. They do attract families, teen groups, etc, so they can be noisy, but I've never really had a problem. They're not at all romantic. It's worth paying $10 more per night for a "premium" view room. It has nothing to do with the view, but it means you will be in the first building next to the bus stops, the pool and the restaraunt, front desk,e tc. I think it's worth it, because otherwise you could end up with a 15-20 minute walk. To me, thats 15 minutes of park time I don't want to waste

Re: Disney Pop Culture Hotel
Stayed there 2 years ago and agree with what everyone else said. Clean and convenient. It's a no-frills place - if you arent planning on spending a lot of time in the room then this is the hotel for you. I would request to stay in the 60's building away with a room facing away from the pool - close to everything but without the noise. Have fun!!
