Disney: Wyndham Bonnet Creek
Anyone stay here? Thoughts/experiences?
I'm looking at options for our trip in 2014. So far this place has had the most referrals. It'll be myself, DH and our 3 boys (5yrs, 4yrs & 9mnths).

I am going there in October for the first time. My husband's best friend has gone there 2x in the past and says its amazing. They love the shuttle to all the parks, all the pools, and the daily happy hour :) . I cant wait till out trip. The web site makes it look amazing.

Re: Disney: Wyndham Bonnet Creek
We've been there twice.
LOVE it there!!!
All of the rooms are beautiful. (However we have only stayed in tower 6).
The shuttle we always catch is right outside building 6 and has always had plenty of times.
Having a full kitchen is definitely a plus, and plenty of shopping (restaurants, stores) within driving distance.
There are tons of activities, and a whole schedule for days that you may not be going to the parks.
We'll most likely be going back for our 3rd time next year

Sounds great!
Where did you rent from...an owner or the resort itself?

We did. We are owners. We loved it and the shuttle to the parks is awesome. There are different towers but you can get to all of them easily. The pools are great!

Re: Disney: Wyndham Bonnet Creek
According to their website, they just started to charge $5 per person for the shuttle... Aside from that, it looks like a great place to stay.

Re: Disney: Wyndham Bonnet Creek
we stayed at Bonnet Creek in 2011 and we had a great experience. the room was really nice (we had a double bedroom suite, stayed w another couple), there were several different pool areas which was nice bc some were more geared toward kids and some were for everyone. there were planned activities, we played some sort of quiz game and won free ice cream or something. we had no kids in our group, i was pregnant w DS at the time, but the place had a lot of families. we had a few issues w our room, but we called the desk and they fixed them right away - i forget what they even were but i think they were minor. the shuttles were great, but i see the above poster mentioned a new fee which is a little ridiculous but i guess it makes sense for them. we had payed for a temporary ownership-type deal so i don't know about renting from the hotel or an owner, but we would definitely go back, it was a nice place. good luck w your plans!
