Disney's Bonnet Creek Resort (Amazing place!)
There is a daily deal for this resort, $199 for 3 nights. Great deal! It looks amazing, and I always hear people raving about it. I'm a little bummed you can't buy more than one to combine, but it looks like a great R&R place with the pools, etc.

This hotel is NOT a Disney owned hotel.

Re: Disney's Bonnet Creek Resort (Amazing place!)
I've heard very good reviews about it from people who have stayed there, but this title is misleading as it is NOT a Disney resort. It IS within the Disney gates, but it is not a Disney resort so you do not get resort privileges such as Magical Express, Free parking, Disney Dining Plan (including any free dining specials that may come out), Extra Magic Hours, etc.
A lot of times the savings you get by staying off property are eaten up by airport transfer costs, parking costs, and losing time by not getting to use EMH. You also lose the savings of the Disney Dining Plan and can't take advantage of any of Disney's specials like free dining or kids stay and play free. So you just have to think about it carefully

Re: Disney's Bonnet Creek Resort (Amazing place!)
Yes, I stayed there last year. The location is great even though it's not a disney resort. I rented a timeshare 1 BR from a friend. It's a great resort and huge! There are a few pools including some zero entry ones and a spray ground for the kids.
The 1BR was so spacious and all the kitchen amenities are there. There's also free parking and buses that takes you to disney.
$200 for 3 nights is a great deal, I rented my time there for about that price and thought that was a steal considering it's probably 2-3 times as much to stay at a disney resort.
The only drawback of the resort is there are 6 buildings when I last went and you do have to do alot of walking if you want to get from one pool to another. The pools have different features, one has a lazy river, another has a giant slide and pirate ship and the one has the sprayground for the little kids...
FM me if you need more info.

If you want to drive to the parks, you'll have to pay $14 per day, that's what I meant about no free parking. You just need to factor that in if you're someone who likes to drive to the parks. You'll also have to pay for airport transfers.

I believe they have a shuttle?
We rent a car from the airport, so no messing with Disney transportation (which I LOATHE anyway)
P.S. I wouldn't let an "offsite" hotel scare you. We have stayed at one that was OUTSIDE of Disney gates (off Palm) and it was FAB! Easy peasy to get to the parks with our super cheap rental car, MORE room, we had free breakfast, etc. No extra magic hours of course, but honestly we didn't miss it, and don't always utilize it anyway.

I don't know about the airport shuttle. I don't generally book or stay offsite. Lots of people do it, but it's not for me.
If you're someone who loves to drive to the parks, just know you'll have to pay the parking fee each day, that's all.

Oh I meant a park shuttle, not one from the airport.

Re: Disney's Bonnet Creek Resort (Amazing place!)
The Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort it is wonderful. Stayed there in October. It has a shuttle to all the parks except Universal. It's technically on Disney's property. It is a timeshare property but just opened up the hotel portion. When we were there the hotel was not finished yet. I highly recommend. If you don't want to stay in the hotel portion you should look into renting a timeshare there. They are like brand new apartments.
