Disneyworld Packages - Park Tickets Question
We will be in Disneyworld a day earlier than when our package package starts. Has anyone been able to start using their park tickets earlier than the package start date?

Re: Disneyworld Packages - Park Tickets Question
What kind of tickets are they? Like a 5day pass or whatever. Because then I think you would be able to use them it would just count as one of your days.
It's not a length of stay pass?
You might just want to call Disney and just double check.

Re: Disneyworld Packages - Park Tickets Question
It depends on what type of ticket. If it's a regular park pass, it can be used any day. If it's tied to your hotel reservation (a length of stay pass that is actually ON your hotel room key card), you can't use it in advance.
Best bet is to call Disney and confirm.

Re: Disneyworld Packages - Park Tickets Question
Actually, it has been possible in past years to do this. It's called "early ticket pick-up" and can be done up to 3 days prior to the start of your package.
You will only be able to make this request at Guest Services inside one of the theme parks or Downtown Disney, not at your resort. You will most likely have to request a supervisor to help as many of the newer CM's do not have first-hand knowledge of the policy.
I had a client do this successfully last year, but I've not tried or made inquiries about it since that time. That said, I don't have any reason to believe the policy has changed.
Hope that helps!

Re: Disneyworld Packages - Park Tickets Question
Many people on a popular Disney site have reported that they have been able to pick up their tickets 3 days prior. You can just add days onto your ticket to cover your actual stay as well.
