Displaying China-spinoff
I have some of my china displayed and some of it stored in the cabinet.
What do you do with the empty china hutch when you use the displayed china?
Does it just stay empty? We have a few big dinner parties for the holiday and such, I'd hate for my cabinet to be barren.

Re: Displaying China-spinoff
I don't have one - but yeah - I would just leave it empty. Or since you're going to be using the dinnerware and table - chuck your centerpiece in there maybe?
I plan on filling my china cabinet with bric a brac and only displaying maybe two full sets so mine wouldn't be completely empty.

Re: Displaying China-spinoff
it's funny you asked this b/c I just had some of my upper kitchen cabinets done with glass - on one side i stored my china (which is plain white) and i mixed in some colored plates, mugs and bowls to match the colors of my kitchen...but then i realized that when i have company and use my china the entire cabinet will be empty - and the glass cabinets on the other side have my glass cups, wine glasses and cocktail glasses - so that side will be empty too
so i guess you just leave it empty?
