Displaying Wedding Photos
Where are your wedding photos displayed?
Does anyone have any photos they would like to share of their wedding photos in their home?
I FINALLY have a house and still have no wedding photos out

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
I have two wedding pics out in our bedroom. One on each night stand. Thats it. Married three years, own the house for two.
But I will print some out before Christmas, so that my new wall of decor in the bedroom looks nicer and that my shelves in the Family Room don't look bare. Thanks for reminding me Nik.

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
We have a digital frame in the LR, that is for wedding pics. We also have a few above the couch in a hanging collage. We have 2 in the bedroom, and one in our guest room.

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
I have one of DH and I in our bedroom, and a few group pictures in the LR - that's it.
I'm not really a fan of having them EVERYWEHRE - I went to my cousin's house the other night and there was a pic of her and her DH everywhere I turned - EVERY room of the house

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
I have a very simple collage in my den (In the first pic, it's on the beige wall) of not just us, but Mom's, Wedding party, etc..
I also have in the same room, a small collage (Top shelf)
And one big black and white of just us in the bedroom

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
Mrs D I really like that collage in your den!
I know that I want to put a bunch of photos of DH and I in our office - we have wedding pictures, engagement pictures and some day after type pictures that we did with this photographer from the Philipennes that was totally random I figure only we'll really go in the office so it's okay if there are a lot of photos of us in there I don't want our house to be a wedding photo shrine...but I figure the office is a safe room to put more than 1 picture of us....
I think I'd like to put just one in our bedroom once that is done - maybe a formal black and white portrait....
I also know I'd like to put a family photo maybe in the living room somewhere, maybe just in a picture frame when we get a side table or something like that....
I just can't believe all this time has passed and still no prints or album

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
We are married 3 years and I just last month hung 3 pictures. I have a ton in my office but none in my house.
This is on the one wall. I don't have a pic of the other one. They're all in our bedroom.
I got the frames with the mats at Target & printed the photos on ofoto

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
We ave one framed on the mantle and a digital frame (only on when company is over) in the LR too. We have 2 on the TV in the basement. I think that's it. In the bedroom is one from when we were dating.

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
We have 3 frames above our couch with all b/w pics. Then we have 5 smaller frames across the top of our entertainment center with wedding pics with the family, our dog, and our bridal party.
In our bedroom we have two framed pics on one nightstand.
We got our enlargements and bought frames for them, but never put them anywhere. I guess eventually we could put one or two in our bedroom, but I feel like we already have a lot out.
What I REALLY wanted was one of the big 11x17 digital frames that we could put up somewhere and just have the wedding pics change. That would just be easier and "neater".

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
i have one small frame of us in our bedroom, i have a 3 picture frame with my family, his family and then everyone in the hallway and i made a small collage of just the 2 of us in the living room. i do have a small frame on an end table and when we get our "big" picture i think i'll hang it in the living/dining room, on the opposite side of the room from the other living room pictures

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
I was thinking of blowing up 3 pics in black and white to hang over our couch. Not sure if this is a faux pas though

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
We got so many gorgeous frames for my shower that I wanted them all out
I have a 4 in the bedroom Not of just us those...our wedding party too. But guests are never in our bedroom so it isn't that bad lol
In the living room we have one and our announcement that was in the paper framed
In the dining area my friend just gave me one for our anniversary a black and white of us kissing...
I need to put other people in some of these frames soon...I am embarrased that they are all from our wedding..I just never get around to printing pictures

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
Nik, I have pics in my FB of our house and you can see pics above our fireplace. We also just recently added 2 pics to our dining room. That's all we have up. I figure we'll have kids soon enough and their pics will replace every other pic in our house

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
We only have 1 4x6 up on a floating shelf in our living room. There's also one of us and our dog on our fridge.
I have an 11x17, but I haven't framed it yet. Hopefully soon.

Re: Displaying Wedding Photos
Just on our night stands. I am not a fan of displaying pics of me everywhere in the house of seeing me in a poster like pic.
As we are redoing our house and plan on using the used upstairs, I will put pics in the walls of our stairs. One side for DS, the other for us. Or maybe just one side and put a couple of pics of us among DS' pics.
