Dizziness--sorry long!
I am 33 weeks, last night I woke up at about 3am I was dizzy and the room was spinning. I then had the chills for a few minutes. Each time I woke up I was still dizzy but not as bad as the initial time.
I called my DR today and they said to come in tom. I told them I had a sono tom at North Shore and they said ok as long as you are being seen. Just make sure I am drinking, going to the bathroom and am feeling the baby and no bleeding or anything. If It happens again to call them.
Well as the day went on, from time to time I have gotten a little dizzy, nothing major though like last night.
Has anyone else had anything like this?
And I def don't think it is heat related as I have not left my house in days and have been in ac.

Re: Dizziness--sorry long!
I have been getting dizzy a lot the past week or two, but I actually do think it is heat related in my case. Plus I've had problems with vertigo in the past (even before pregnancy) and when my sinuses are clogged and my ears stuffy I can get very unbalanced and the room feels like it is spinning.
This has happened to me even when indoors in the AC though, but for now I'm just chalking it up to being dehydreated after being out in the heat. I'm really increasing my water intake a LOT even though I felt like I was already drinking a ton! IT seems like the dizziness is better after I take another slug of water..
I'm glad you are being seen tomorrow though as a precaution. The only other thing I can think of is maybe your blood pressure is spiking up when you get these dizzy spells?
Hope you feel better soon

Re: Dizziness--sorry long!
I hope you feel better. I have been getting dizzy spells as well. I got a really bad one this morning at around 4. I got up to go to the bathroom and on my way back to my bed, I thought I was going to fall. I fell onto the bed.

were you sleeping on your back? if you were this cuts off the circulation..and get dizzy..you shouldnt be on your back for a long time..in fact...while delivering my baby i was on my back and got so dizzy that i almost threw up..but when i sat up for a while it was ok...the dr said it was my circulation being cut off..HTH..
