Do 1 year olds still wear onesies or mostly tees?
Sorry for the really dumb question, but this is my first child . . .
There's tons of great summer stuff on sale and I want to stock up for next year for DS.
He is 11 weeks old so next summer he will be a little over a year old (14 mos to 17 mos)
Am I safe buying 12-18 mo sizes and 1 yr olds typically wear Tees, not onesies anymore, right?

DS is 20mths and still wears onesies (except if it is hot outside/summer).

I stopped onesies at 1 year. I found it so annoying to change their diapers.

My DD still wears onsies at 22 months old. I really like them for the colder weather so I know she doesn't get crazy drafts up her shirt.

DS is 14 mos, and still wears a onesie, except when it's really warm out.

more to tear off...esp when your 1 yr old wont stay still for a diaper change!

I plan to have DS in onesies still at that time. They are so easy for me and I don't like having his back and belly hanging out in t-shirts - they get hiked up so easily. I like how he is all "contained" in the onesies - nothing hanging out

This past winter I still put my DD in onesies (she was 2 in october) just because I liked knowing that she had a layer to protect her from the cold if her shirt/jacket went up.
As long as they are still in diapers I think it would be OK. Once you are potty training you need easier access!
Carters makes long sleeve onesies up to size 24m I believe.
