Do they take apart large furniture items (bed, armoire, china cabinets, tables, etc)? Then if so do they also reassemble them at the new home?

I don't know what the standard is, but my movers tried to take apart as few items as possible. They did help us put the glass back on the dining table (top) when they brought it into the house. I think you will have to ask them when you call though.

I think it's pretty typical. For both of our recent moves, the movers took apart and reassembled the beds, desk, and dining table. They didn't take apart the armoires.

They should only have to take apart what is needed (tables, beds, large cribs or things that they can't move easily without taking them apart). If they take it apart they are SUPPOSED to put it back together. Sometimes they will try not to - but they should. We had one issue when my family moved several years back and the movers tried to get away with not putting stuff together when they were supposed to.
