We did when we moved in... we had an old wood small set all that first summer, then waited till about this time of year to buy a nice one. Now that small wooden one is on the side of the house for just hanging...but it's never used LOL

i bought my set in august and got a great deal from sears- even at that point they considered it kinda past the "prime season" and i still got great use out of it!

we did this when we bought our house... we bought it in February cause there was an amazing sale. We stalked the price for it for months!

I got a great table and chair set from PB in August, which was technically end of season. It was originally $1600 and change, and I paid like $900 and change for it.
