Do any of you have a K-Kids, Builders or Key Club in your school?

And if so, are you involved in it? What kinds of things do they do?
I run the K-Kids and Builders Club in my school, and we're always curious about what other schools are doing.

Hmm, I wonder if they're co-sponsored by Kiwanis? Middle School is supposed to be the Builders Club. I wanted to call ours Key Club, too, since people know that name, but they told me no, it has to be Builders Club for middle school.

I am have kids in 1-4 in K-Kids, then 5-8 in Builders. I like the idea of the senior citizen prom. that's adorable!

If anyone else has some community service ideas for my kids, I'd love to hear them!

Thanks girls!

In our Middle School it's called the Builder's Club. They do all sort of community-related projects.

Our keyclub is not co sponsored. We used to be a 7-9 building and it started then. When the 9th grade was removed from the school they kept the name. The KeyClub does not outside community service projects that I know of they do service projects in the school only-- peer tutoring, attendance running, ushers for different school events, tour guides to the incoming 7th graders etc.

Gotcha! I kind of figured that there was a 9th grade now or at some point in time. I really wanted to call it Key Club so I could stop explaining what K-Kids and Builders Clubs are. Hopefully next year the questions will die downChat Icon
