Do Dentists in NY Buy Back your Candy?
It's very popular out here. They give $1 per pound and they donate all the candy brought in to the troops.
I think this is such a great idea and we are definitely doing it since we have a bunch of candy leftover and from trick or treating.

I know a dentist in the Bronx near my work was doing this last year. I agree it is a wonderful idea! Surprisingly we don't really have any leftover candy but I did buy candy to send to my brother who is deployed overseas! It is so hot there though so I tried to avoid anything chocolate.

I know of one in Huntington that does it.
My DS picked out all the pretzels and we'll probably donate the candy he got (he's not a fan..wont even taste it).

I know some dentists do, not sure if ours does. We put some on the side for DS to enjoy and we "buy back" the rest and he gets to pick a toy instead

There is a dentist who advertises in our local paper that she does it. Not sure how it works - just saw the ad that she did something with buying back candy.
