do I HAVE to go for monitoring-IUI related
I just learned that my ins doesnt cover co-pays for any dr visits during IUI. So I got a big fat bill for all bloodwork, sono appts and IUI procedures. Im supposed to be starting a new cycle of monitoring next week but i O late so if I start protocol at CD 12, that's at least 2 weeks of being monitored. Can I do it from home with OPKs and just go in when I get my ? Does that make sense? I just want to avoid paying a copay every time I go.
Warning.. minor vent* So not only am I completely wasting my time on IUI-I know it will never work for us-now I get to waste money on it too... This ride just gets better and better every f*king day! !@#$%^#%@#$%#

I think you need to go once then they can tell you when to begin OPKS (as long as you arent triggering)
Mine never used to do bloodwork on monitoring, but now they do for some reason.

My Re let me do it without monitoring. I would call him when I got my surge and they would schedule the iui the next day. I only did this with clomid though. And I knew the ovulation sticks always worked for me and were pretty accurate. I would definitely ask him.
