Do I have to Notify the Assessor of the Deed Change?
Or does the previous homeowner do that? This is for Star..It says you have to noticy the assessor ofa deed change before applying for star..how do I do that?

The Assessor will get notified when the new deed is filed by the county. You won't need to do anything. At least we didn't. Nassau County even mailed us a new STAR application.
