they are very similar. I would keep the one on the bottom. They can play with it if they are laying down or in the upright position.

They're both pretty similar and can both grow with your child. The top one starts out as a mat (with the toys hanging above your child's head) and you can change to the tunnel when your child starts crawling. There's an octopus that plays music when you roll the ball it's holding, but other than that and the bright colors, it's a little blah. The second also starts out as a mat and then shifts to the position where your child can sit and play with it. This one's a bit more interactive with music and lights. Honestly, I had bought the top one because it was cheaper and regretted not spending the extra money for the bottom one. Since you're going to have both, it's up to you. If you're going to return one, I'd recommend returning the first and getting something that's a bit different or even getting formula or diapers
