Do inductions get scheduled for weekends?
What days do non-emergency inductions usually start?
I'm guessing I will end up going in naturally, and I'm not going to ask to be induced. But, when would they want to induce me? My appt is at the end of the week. Next week is a holiday. I wonder if they'd want to start me on the weekend?

Do inductions get scheduled for weekends?
I didn't end up making it but with my first I was scheduled to go in on a Sunday afternoon. I guess they don't expect much to happen that first day or so bc my doctors weren't even there that entire day which is when I ended up delivering.

Not sure if it was my hospital (Katz) or dr's policy but they did not allow for weekend inductions.

My induction was originally scheduled for a Wednesday (May 4th- how awesome would a Star Wars Day birthday have been?!). Depending on my progress I would've gone in that morning and started pitocin or that evening to start cytotec over night. My fluid was low so I was sent to the hospital right from my doctor's office though- which was the Thursday before my scheduled induction.

Do inductions get scheduled for weekends?
With both my inductions I was scheduled to come in at 10pm on a Sunday with expectations to deliver Monday. I didn't see my obgyn until Monday when she was scheduled to be at the hospital. This was at North Shote Manhasset.

I was induced on a Sunday at Katz. I was told to be there at 630am.

Do inductions get scheduled for weekends?
I'm scheduled to be induced at Good Sam the Saturday night after Thanksgiving. However, this was my doctor's choice since he is the on-call doctor there on Sunday.

My doctor does them based on when she is on call, which can fall on a weekend. When she was pushing to induce me she originally mentioned Saturday or Sunday

With my first I was scheduled at a week overdue which my due date was a Sunday-so I was scheduled on a Sunday- this was north shore manhasset.

With DD2, I was scheduled for a Friday at 5pm.
She was born the following Tuesday
