Do Marshmellows exist without gelatin?
I want to make smores this weekend but won't eat gelatin, so wanted to see if there was an alternative.
TIA

I would try an organic store-- look for vegan marshmellows. I have no idea if they make them-- but that would be a good place to start.

No I am not allergic, but I am a vegetarian and gelatin is made with animal bones.

Pangea used to sell vegan marshmellows...I would guess that a health food store might have them. Try Wild by Nature.

Try a kosher supermarket. You may want to double check to see that the "gelatin" is an artificial one though. Good luck.
