Do oil companies charge you more
when the temps are above normal?
I just got billed an extra $6.23 by Keyspan for "weather normalization adjustment".
like I would get a discount if temps were below normal
it's such a racket! I know that is not a lot of money, but they should not be allowed to do that!

Re: Do oil companies charge you more
wasn't there a post last week about LIPA doing the same thing
they make more when it's cold and then charge extra when it's warm- it really makes no sense
they are using less - and selling less- it should balance out

it seriously pisses me off that they can get away with it!

Re: Do oil companies charge you more
Nope-for those who locked in a price. I don't get charged extra because I'm using less.
