i am almost 8m post partum and still nursing although i have really not much milk left. she only nurses a good round in the mornings and then just here and there for a minute throughout the day, sometimes at night or in the middle of the night. i already had supply issues so i def dont make a lot of milk.

i havent gotten AF back yet but i have PCOS so im not sure if/when she'll come back. i use OPKs sporadically since for now we are doing PNP as BC..(i know, not the smartest but that's a whole different discussion). so anyway after months of - OPKs i got what looked like a + last night. i specifically tested because I've had more CM lately after literally nothing for months. today I had one close to positive and one that was negative but the line was still there just not as dark.. i have the cheapie strips...

anyway i had high LH as a symptom of PCOS and based on my skin this could DEF just be PCOS high LH levels and not actually Oing. i am going to temp once I get AF just to see if I am actually Oing.

i guess im just rambling now, my original question still stands - do OPKs work reliably while still nursing but prior to a first PP AF? are the LH levels normal during this time or would they be off and screw the results of the OPK?? any other PCOSers try to do this??
