Do people still use e-vite.com
I used to use it often but then I found that the announcements sometimes went into people's junk folders. That also happened to me on some that people tried to send to me. For organizing a small, casual GTG of friends should I use e-vite? Is the facebook event invitation feature better?

I think people are using less of evite and more of facebook events. You can do both, this way if someone doesn't have facebook, you can still let them know about your GTG!

I still use e-vites. I find them very helpful. Plus, a lot of family (ike my parents) don't use Facebook.

I still use evite regularly, as do many of my friends. I am not as big a fan of Facebook events.

Honestly... I never even look at my facebook events because most of the time it is club promotions & stuff like that.

My Aunt used e-vite for the annual family reunion to determine who is coming, what each is bringing, etc. Plus it has an area for comments.

if u use the fb events, anyone you are friends w/, whether u are inviting them or not, will see the event...
i still like e-vites, or just sending an email.

I use it for parties I am hosting at home, like holidays, and birthdays. but then i get frustrated when i see people have viewed it and won't respond. LOL. I need to learn my lesson!

I still use it! I like that you can use different themes depending on what kind of party you're having. Can't do that on FB.
