Well, DS started pushing his exersaucer across the floor, now he's pushing his bucking zebra as I type this. These are all toys that aren't supposed to even be mobile. Tell your DH that children will find a way to push whatever they want. SOmetimes it's best to go with wheels. Chat Icon

We have a few ride ons from Fisher Price and the floors seem OK.

Re: Do Ride On Toys Scratch Wood Floors

Agree with pp...lots of things will get pushed across your wood floors in years to come! I don't think the ride-ons have done any damage. The high chair has though Chat Icon

I agree, DS pushes his piano, laugh and learn chair, the laundry basket, and the exersaucer.

I dont thnk our push toys have caused any damage, but hte throwing of the remotes/coasters/telephones/dog bones etc....those have left marks.

Children will ALWAYS find a way! Chat Icon

Re: Do Ride On Toys Scratch Wood Floors

DS has like four push toys and two ride-ons and none of them have scratched our floors yet. I will also agree with the previous posters about them pushing EVERYTHING - push toy or not. My DS will take the dining room table chairs and push them across the room and they are HEAVY!

DD pushes everything around the house and so far, nothing. She has dropped her heavier toys and they have left miniscule marks.
