Do u "regular" girls have a problem....
....with some other girls on here that just read, and dont really post? I just wanted to formally "apologize" that I read a lot of posts, but I never really post too much. Like, when u post pics of the kids, I say, wow, how cute/ precious/ and i love looking at everyones pics, but i never formally "comment" on them....do u hold it against me/other women? i know it sounds so corny, but i was just wondering...

Summer I consider you an active poster and you post more pics then I do of Gillian. I would be shocked to hear if someone said that it annoys them. Even the people that say "I havent been on in a while" I also think why do they think people dont know them. I am an active reader (listener) so i consider everyone to be wonderful people with great advice. Does that make sense?

I don't have any problems with anyone just reading posts. Actually you will see that most threads have LOTS of people reading them but not as many people posting.

i just feel like there are some women are more "popular" hahahaha than others.....just something i noticed- and i was thinking it was probly bc theyve been member for a long time and are super-active posters......

The friend that introduced me to the site only lurks on this site. She does searches for questions she has about her dd or party venues, etc. My mom's neighbor also lurks & never posts (as much as I've tried - yes Laura this is about you! Post already!).
I am wary of meeting people that only lurk on the site for GTGs or photos, if only for safety reasons.
eta. I think there are people that have more friends on the site from the experiences they've had...whether it be weddings, IF or simply friendships off the board.
I also consider you an active poster.

I read WAY more than I post but that's bc my main access is at work :) and I love to get everyone's view on different things but dont' always have something to contribute. I try to make sure I catch up every few days so I don't miss anything, even though you guys don't see me post very often.

Not that I post a lot either (especially on the Parenting board, since I'm still pregnant), but I don't think I would have a problem with anyone who posted that my kid is cute!

I usually try to read every thread, but admit that I only respond to a few at a time, mostly because of time constraints. It's much quicker and easier to read than to type out a post.
