Do you always buy off the baby registry?
One of DH's closest friends is having a baby. I don't think his wife had a shower. They just got married and moved to a new state. I found that they had a registry but it's not like DH's friend told DH about the registry.
Would you buy them a gift off the registry?
Or would it be ok to make a package of products?

I always get stuff off a registry unless- 1. There is nothing I can afford 2. The things I can afford still wont equal a high enough price Then I usually get those few little odds & ends gifts and combine it with a gift card.

I really wanted to get them this new fisher price newborn rocker that I just got that I absolutely love and a few of my other favorite items.
I just ended up buying them a pack n play off their registry. It is probably best to stay on their registry.

No not always if there is a product I think that they will love or I will buy a registry gift and then something additional that I pick out. but I will have it added to the registry ( BBB ) in case they want to return it.

I would buy off the registry. If not, I either give a GC to the store they registered or buy a gift WITH a gift receipt.

I always buy off the registry. When I give a gift I actually want the person to use it. (Not saying the gift you give wouldn't be used.. but if it's on their registry you know they want it.)

I always try to, I make sure to get to the store as soon as I can so I have a lot of options to choose from.
