My story: I will try to sum it up

Was staying at my cousins house by myself to watch her cat while she was away. In the middle of the night i wake up and see someone looking in at me from the doorway. But he backed away as soon as I looked. I blinked my eyes and made sure i was really awake, looked again and he was looking at me but again, backed away when i looked. I thought there was a robber so i picked up the phone and dialed 9-1 and held my finger on the last 1 and got up. It was a small apt so from the bedroom i could see the only door in the apt and the door was locked and the chain was on and everything. So it was obvious no one broke in. All of a sudden I felt so calm and not scared at all. Which is not like me, getting freaked out like that I would have gotten the hell out of there. But I was calm and went right back to sleep. The next day I described the person to my cousin , she made me look in her yearbook, and there he was. Her best friend that had died years earlier, who she always felt a presence of.

Ready for the twist!!!! - At the time this happened me and DH worked together but really didnt know eachother, were barely friends. When we eventually dated and married, we found out that her bff that I saw , was the brother of one of DH's best friends! I feel like he brought Eric & I together.

YES!!! i was very close to my father and he passed away 13 years ago. The house i live in now was a family summer house and b4 my father passed away he told me he wanted me to have it. He used to love coming here with his italian garden and being in the "country"

i first moved here when i got married and i was doing laundry downstairs (dh was working late nights. ) i smelled this strong smell of wine as if a bottle had just broken. as quickly as the smell came it left. i looked around got a little freaked out and went upstairs and finished laundry when dh was home the next day. I didnt think anything of it and thougth it was my immagination. I never told anyone with the exception of dh and went on with daily life. Dh and i went on vacation and had a friend watch the house, she would come by every dya with her dh. When dh and i came home she said all around the permiter of my home the smell of wine was so strong and they were freaked out bc they both smelled it!!!

Well my dad made wine EVERY year in our "country home" and had grape vines in the backyard. This was his fav place to be! So yes i belive and have gotten many other signs that hes around
