Absolutely.
When Hans went to the bridge it was a rough time for me. We had just lost my grandfather, who I was very close with, and we had just moved into our new house, and I started a new job. There was so much going on & I felt like I could not handle anymore. We had to make the decision to put Hans down & it was very very hard for me. It was a decision we had tried to make many times before, but I just could not do it. Needless to say this time we did, and I was so sad and felt so guilty, like I let him down.
That very night I had a *dream* that Hans was young again, and that he was at the foot of my bed with his little nub tail wagging. He Barked once, did a trick that he used to do when he was a pup & jumped off. It was incredibly reassuring, and I felt so much better. 3 months later Bruno (my chihuahua) was born & I swear this dog is Hans re-incarnation. He even does his begging trick, which I never taught him!

I never thought about it - but yes. I think everyone/thing that passes who you are close to watches over you.

Absolutely! I had my dog since I was little and he would always watch over me and my sister. When my parents weren't home he would never leave our side. I know that he is still watching over me from heaven!

Absolutely. Its hard for me not believe that animals with such sweet personalties don't have souls. They must! And they are so full of love, they jusy give and give. I do believe they go to happier place yet are always with you.
