Do you break the mum mums or give them whole?

Do you break the mum mums or give them whole?
I decided to go with the mum mums but arent they kind of big? DS is almost 8mths and has two bottom teeth. I gave him those little cherrios puffs things and he did fine, he even chewed them, so cute but do you think the mum mums are too big? Should i break them in half and see how he does?

Do you break the mum mums or give them whole?
I always gave them whole, but my SIL always broke them for my nephew. They get soggy as soon as they put them in their mouth, so I never worried about it.

When I first gave it to ds at around 7 months, i broke it up. Around 3 weeks later, he got them whole.

I gave them whole to dd until she managed to break a large chunk off and choke on it. I mean choke not gag or cough. It was so scary that I never gave them again and do not plan on giving them to ds2. She was prob about 9 months old at the time. So be careful with them :)

 thats so scary...I think I will break them then and will def. watch him as he eats them.
