Do you bring your DC to Superbowl Parties?
DH's Station has one at a bar/restaurant in Brooklyn.
Last year, my parents watched DS, but this year they are going to be on a cruise. DH really wants us all to go
Not many people have kids, his partner has three, but they are teenagers, but they will probably bring at least their girl b/c she loves Christopher..

Re: Do you bring your DC to Superbowl Parties?
I would *totally* bring DS if we had a Superbowl party to attend. If we liked football I'm sure you won't be the only folks there with little ones, and it's a special occasion kind of thing, not like you're throwing a few back on Saturday night at your local.
I thnk DS has been to a bar *once*, during the afternoon on a Sunday last year; DH wanted to show the sprog off to his pals at our local pub, but that was a one-time event. With that exception, DH is fairly militant about not bringing his boy into bars, EVER.
If you think he'd have a good time, BRING HIM and enjoy it!!!

I have the last 2 years but I don't think I am going to this year. It's just E and my friend's DD (who is 3 weeks younger) and I don't think E likes her very much I kinda just don't feel like playing referee.

At a house, yes, at a restaurant, I don't know. It would depend if it was a private party where he would have room to run around. Otherwise he would get bored, restless, and fussy. But he's only 16.5 months old, so that also has something to do with it. At Christopher's age, if you think he'll "behave" for a few hours, I would go for it.

I agree with this. If it was at a place like a KofC hall or something or a place that had a lot of room then yes I would. If it was basically like a bar with tables where everybody would just be sitting all night instead of milling around, I wouldn't

We do but it is at our friends' house. They have three kids and most of their friends have little kids. There are more juice boxes then beers these days.

Re: Do you bring your DC to Superbowl Parties?
Yes since it'll be at a friends house
I would bring them to the local bar here because we could sit and eat lunch or dinner while the game was on, they'd be sitting at a table.
But I wouldn't bring them to just a bar where they'd be "running around". (if that makes sense)

Re: Do you bring your DC to Superbowl Parties?
I would bring them if it was at someone's house but probably not to a bar/restaurant simply because I dont think I would be able to enjoy myself chasing after him

Re: Do you bring your DC to Superbowl Parties?
Yes ... we were just talking about this tonight. We have to travel (the party is in LI and we live in NJ). I decided we will bring DD pack-n-play and put her to sleep in one of the bedrooms- away from the noise. She usually goes down betwen 6:30-7pm, but will probably let her stay up a little later (she's 4 months and there will be several other kids/cousins there- some her age).
