Do you build in treats to your routine?

I find it keeps me on track. Does anyone else do this, and if so, what do you choose?

I typically wait till the weekend. I have two biscuits with my usual egg white breakfast on Saturday... maybe some frozen yogurt from Red Mango or a slice of pizza.

If I keep the portions reasonable, it doesn't affect my weekly weight loss. And I'm still happy because I'm not starving myself of the things I love. Chat Icon

I get a chocolate glazed donut from dunkin donuts most Saturday nights and I usually drink some strawberry nesquik with it. It's delicious and I look forward to it all week!

I do a treat once a week...like a piece of really good chocolate, or my vice....full fat cheeses.
Every other week I have a meal or if I know I am going to get together with my girlfriends to celebrate something then I use that day as my cheat meal.
It keeps me sane....

I have dessert every single night! I either have a jello mousse with ff whipped cream, WW ice cream sandwich, etc.

On the weekends if we go out I definetely sample all the desserts at a party or get dessert at a resturant.

I have a major sweet tooth and can't see myself giving up my dessert!

Yes, but my treats aren't necessarily a sweet treat.

The only "treat" I work in is cheese in my egg white Omelette once or twice a week. Other than that.. a nice piece of 72% Godiva dark chocolate with almonds, blueberries and cranberries. Sooooo worth it!

Absolutely! You have to live, HAVE TO! I usually do the same with weekends being when I will indulge more, but I am also more active on the weekends bec I go hiking or I am digging in the garden or some other physical stuff... and i always eat "real" stuff, not diet stuff.
