Re: Do you cook dinner everynight?

I cook at least Monday through Thursday. occasional Fridays & Weekends.

I cook what we like, I try to come up with something new once in a while but I try not to sweat over it too much.

I make a lot of grilled chicken but I try to vary the marinade: Bottled Honey Mustard; Montreal Chicken Rub, Sesame Oil & Garlic, Olive Oil & Shallots with Adobo, Terayake glaze, stirfry strips with vegatables, balsamic vinegarette marinade.
Even though it's the same chicken breast grilled, at least it tastes a little different.

Re: Do you cook dinner everynight?

We never cook on the weekends... (at least for the most part).. we usually go out with family, friends, or just order pizza...

During the week, we take turns cooking...whoever just feels up to it cooks...

I have major issues of deciding what to cook..DH is soooo picky...I feel like we eat chicken cutlets everynight lol

Re: Do you cook dinner everynight?

I cook Mon-Thurs...usually the same things since both DH and DS love the dishes. I try to vary a couple of things here and there.
I usually make breakfast for us on the weekends too.
Fri, Sat and Sun we order out for dinner or go out.

Re: Do you cook dinner everynight?

I would like to more often. My DH is not home 3 nights a week (during the work week) and we have a habit of getting Subway or something like that.

I need to go grocery shopping more often. Chat Icon

Re: Do you cook dinner everynight?

DH and I share the cooking. We try to cook Sun-Thurs night...and Fri & Sat we eat out. But...this last weekend, I told DH that we have to start eating at home on the weekends...it's getting to expensive. He's not a breakfast guy, so it's always like the diner on Saturday for early lunch and then eat out Saturday night...back out again Sunday. I spend $$ at the grocery store and then we spend $$ eating out. It's gotta stop Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

We usually eat the same things...but mix it up. There are like 8 or 9 things we make..so we don't repeat the same every week...usually every 2 weeks.
